With a solid rating of 3.9, this campsite offers an authentic outdoor experience that caters to families, friends, and solo travelers seeking leisure and adventure in Naivasha’s beautiful environs.

The camp’s atmosphere is lively, anchored by a popular bar that pulses with energy, making it an ideal spot for guests longing to unwind or socialize after a day of exploration. Crayfish Camp’s commitment to inclusivity is evident in its pet-friendly policy and dedicated play areas for children, ensuring the whole family feels welcome.

Accommodations range from classic camping pitches to modest cabins offering shelter for those less inclined toward tents. While cleanliness and hot water in the showers receive praise, some aspects such as delayed meal service and room repairs signal room for improvement. Nonetheless, the on-site restaurant serves hearty meals and affordable drinks, with a robust buffet that many guests find satisfying despite occasional waiting times.

Outdoor activities extend beyond the basics, featuring horse riding, pool tables, and organized boat rides on the lake, enriching the recreational options for visitors. The camp’s location is strategic—secluded enough to escape the bustling hotel districts yet accessible for travelers, providing a peaceful base for sightseeing and relaxation.

Crayfish is a wonderful camp site with a very wonderful nightlife. It has a very hype bar where one can turn up and enjoy as much. There is also a pool for all the aqua lovers. The camp rates are affordable as well. It is a great place to enjoy with family and friends and the food and drinks are quite affordable and a great play area for kids. Pets are also allowed for those who like bringing their furry friends along.

This was my second time at the camp. Slept at one of their cabins two person sharing full board. No mosquitos... thank God, relatively decent rooms but don't expect room service. Their biggest downside is theirs meals are often served late for example our breakfast was getting ready at 10am. Probably because it's a camping site they don't really expect people to eat from their restaurant either way it'd be nice to have breakfast served by 7am. Overall great experience will definitely be stopping by again whilst in Naivasha.

One of the best places to camp in Naivasha because it contains all the facilities in one place and at affordable prices. There is a nice swimming pool, a club/bar, pool tables, horses, bikes, the lake (arranged boat rides are made) and a large area for putting the camps. There are rooms too for those not comfortable camping. It is located away from other hotels and is perfect for individuals or groups. You can arrange for your personal food or buy the food they sell. It makes a difference that there is a club in the facility for partying as most camping places in the area do not have the facility.

I love the buffet. The scenery is awesome. Swimming pool is also really cool and there are many things to have fun with like the pool table and play station. But the Wi-Fi is slow and limited to a small area. Plus the prices of drinks are exaggerated

Nice place, bandas need lots of repair and the ladies toilets in the public areas could benefit if toilet paper replenished regularly. However, there was copious amounts of hot water in the showers and good breakfast. The grounds and campsites are vast and well maintained. Good experience!

It's located along Moi South Lake Road, very accessible. Great for camping and activities like horse riding. I gave the place 4 stars because I drove all the way, expecting to find a swimming pool following a search on their website only to be told that it was destroyed by the rain It's a good place for people who love partying. Their bar section looked amazing!

Excellent service. There were various events occurring when we visited, however that didn't stop the staff from serving us with a smile. The waiter was kind enough to explain to us that the food would take a while, so he'd call us when it's ready, which he did. The food was worth the wait, as it was well prepared and the portions were filling. The horse riding was also worth it. The groom took us round the camp and gave us a brief history on the horses. My highlight of the visit was that we'd forgotten to take our change and the lady at the reception was kind enough to call us and send it via mpesa. I highly recommend Crayfish Camp.
